About LTE5G Hub

A layer-by-layer, 3GPP-grounded reference for 5G NR, LTE 4G, and 5G NTN — built for engineers, students, and anyone preparing for a telecom testing role.

Why this site exists

Most mobile network documentation is either buried in dense 3GPP specification text or scattered across forum posts and outdated slide decks. LTE5G Hub exists to close that gap: every topic — from PHY-layer resource grids to RRC procedures to full call flows — is explained the way a senior engineer would walk a colleague through it, then grounded back to the exact 3GPP specification it comes from (TS 38.211, TS 36.331, and so on) so you can verify it yourself.

What's on the site

Over 200 topic pages spanning 5G NR, LTE 4G, and 5G NTN, organized layer by layer (PHY, MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC, NAS, core network, and voice), plus interactive calculators for throughput, link budget, EARFCN, and SLIV, a full glossary of acronyms, and step-by-step call-flow walkthroughs. We also run a paid Mock Interview service, where you can book a 1-hour session with an industry expert to self-assess your readiness for a real 4G/5G testing interview.

Who's behind it

LTE5G Hub is written and maintained by telecom engineers with hands-on background in LTE/5G testing, RAN protocols, and interview preparation for testing roles. Content is written from direct working experience with the specifications and procedures described, and cross-checked against the relevant 3GPP documents before publishing.

Accuracy & corrections

Telecom specifications evolve, and we do our best to keep pages current, but 3GPP releases move fast. If you spot something outdated or incorrect, we'd genuinely like to know — email hello@lte5ghub.com with the page and what looks off, and we'll review it.
